I had a kitchen extension built last year with Dave Gould and his team. The build was completed to a very high standard in particular the brick work was exceptional.

The team were reliable and flexible and completed all the work in good time. There was also good follow up to check everything was in order and I m very happy with the result. I highly recommend Dave Gould and his team.

Extensions and update to 4 bedroom property in Long Ashton.

When we decided we were going to extend our property in Long Ashton we began the usual trawl through builders as one would do. It was a nightmare. Not turning up, unable to get reliable pricing, unable to provide dates, the list went on and on.

We stumbled across Dave Gould working on another site in our area and though well more of the same, but, we have to go through enough of the trash to get an idea or some guideline for this build. How wrong could we have been in regards to Dave Gould.

We knew from our first meeting we had found our man. Everything was laid out by Dave from day one. Anything we needed to know was provided, things we hadn't even thought of were brought up and explained. Pricing was clear and accurate, Dave left no stone unturned and was available at all times to answer any questions or worries we had. Dave even took us to other sites he had worked on so we could see the quality of his work. Start dates were set and the process was put into motion.

Dave handled everything, arranging all the personnel! Designers, Plumbers, Electricians, Brick Layers and Tilers. There wasn't much for us to do except watch the work take place and sit down with Dave for regular updates and progress reports. As with any build, things change and Dave handled all of these in his stride. Problems arise, things that no one could foresee and again Dave was on the ball and provided alternatives or work arounds that left us feeling in safe hands and happy with the changes that had to be made. No problem was too big for Dave.

I first met Dave Gould by chance after another builder let me down. Dave was working on another house further down the road that I live on. I had a conversation with him and two hours later he was at my house measuring up for a quote. Dave supplied me with a very good quote and a favourable time frame, and the rest is history as they say.

Dave completed the work to a very high standard, incorporating a couple of small changes without any problem or extra cost. He arranged for steel gates and posts to be manufactured to my requirements and installed.

I would recommend Dave Gould without hesitation to my family and friends, and he will be my first port of call for any future building that I may need.

My son suggested I use Dave to build a porch as he knew his work was good.  Dave provided me with a quote and details of what was included in the price.  The price was reasonable and we agreed the work would go ahead. Before the work started materials arrived all ordered by Dave and on the agreed date the work started.  The workman arrived on time; the site was always clean and ordered; the work was to a good standard and done within the given timescale.

I found the whole process easy and straightforward.  The porch was built according to the plans and within the quote.  Where there were extras a price was given and Dave gave his opinion where he was asked.

I will definitely use Dave for all my building work.

Just want to say what a great job David Gould did when he recently fitted our new kitchen. He said it would take four days and that's what happened. He was very polite and efficient, kept us informed of the progress and tidied up before he left.

The workmanship was tip top and and even helped resolve a mistake which our kitchen designer made and cleverly sorted it.

The price was great for a brilliant job , I would recommend using him to my family and friends and would definitely use him again in the future.

We'd without hesitation recommend Dave and his team to anyone looking to have any work undertaken. From the very first time of meeting Dave when he came to quote, we found him knowledgable, easy to talk to on matters that we weren't familiar with and were left feeling confident that not only was the price competitive but that the work would be of a high standard. Our expectations were more than met, the quality of work excellent and importantly for us (having small children) the time it took to complete was within the quoted time frame and all this without any chasing. This included foundations being dug on a Saturday to ensure that things didn't fall behind. Dave was always contactable and made sure that we were kept in the loop at all times as to how things were progressing. It went so well we had a patio built at the end of the initial job.

Dave installed a kitchen and bathroom in our Victorian House . His work was of the highest standard and we were delighted with the results . The standard of his craftsmanship has certainly added to the value of our home . Dave has a natural skill and he has the ability to come up with innovative ideas and solutions that others would not think of . He is a true professional and we would not hesitate to recommend him to others .
